Previously mentioned, walking, hiking, canoeing, and exploring are important aspects of my art practice. Ten years before this image was made to document this canoe trip I had created “Water is Both the Barrier and the Passageway,” (1993) based on a walk I continue to make in St. Lucie County. I have a connection with that place for a number or reasons, but my family moved to St. Lucie County in the 1920s, and some of them are buried there.
Guided tours of the Savannas, and other personally significant landmarks, can be arranged by contacting me via the comment form below, or the contact page. Day trips, two-day trips, can be arranged with camping, or hotel, and meals, if desired.
